POWERING UP WITH REPLICATION SERVER 15
Designed for Replication Server administrators who are moving from a Replication Server 12.5.x or greater environment to RS 15.0. This course covers all the new features and/or enhancements made to the latest release of Replication Server 15. New feature topics include: support for longer identifiers, performance, tuning, embedded RSSD enhancements, new plug-ins and capabilities for Sybase Central, bidirectional replication support for DDL in MSA, new interface for monitor and counters, larger disk partitions and replicating computed and encrypted columns.

ADVANCED MODELING TECHNIQUES USING POWERDESIGNER 12
Learn how to use PowerDesigner’s advanced features and techniques as a tool during the data analysis, data modeling, and database design process. The course topics include the PowerDesigner Generation Template Language, an introduction to the PD MetaModel, customization of the PowerDesigner IDE to manage corporate meta data using extended model definitions and language files. Other customization techniques will include the implementation of stereotypes, custom checks and transformations using VB script. Discussions around different Repository layouts and implementation procedures are also included. The course concludes with a thorough treatment of best practices using PowerDesigner as the enterprise tool of choice.

MOVING TO POWERBUILDER 11
Stay in touch with Sybase’s new direction in .NET development for today’s most demanding application environments. Gain extensive hands-on experience on all the new features of PowerBuilder 11, offering you the ability to create .NET application code from the PowerBuilder IDE and standard PowerScript programming code. The PowerBuilder/.NET application development you will perform in class includes: WinForms, WebForms, Assemblies and Web Services. Learn to use the Smart Client / Intelligent Updater feature - a by-product of the WinForm application - and take advantage of learning how to more easily deploy and update your applications. There are also User Interface, DataWindow and Database enhancements that will be introduced in the class. As a seasoned PowerBuilder developer, this course will help you learn Sybase’s approach to multi-tier development using the .NET capabilities of PowerBuilder 11.0.
